Rimax DoGuard uses your fingerprint to protect your system from unwanted intrusions

The DoGuard security application stops intruders from entering your Windows environment and protects access to your private details by means of an individual and non-transferable password, your fingerprint

The included software applications monitor three potential risks to your computer's security:

1. Windows Start Up - DoGuard monitors the entry of users into your Windows environment by using fingerprint identification and verification.

2. Intrusions in your absence - Replacing the classic Windows Standby password with verification of your fingerprint ensures that nobody can access your computer once it has been blocked. It also adds the same protection to your screensaver if it is configured as "Password Protected".

3. Access to private data - DoDisk is a virtual unit in which all the stored data is enciphered by the Blowfish algorithm. Without the DoGuard application running it is impossible to access the virtual disk. DoDisk works transparently as just another unit in your operating system. Each DoGuard user can create restricted-use private folders to which only they have access. If they have also been created in the virtual unit (DoDisk) all the data stored will be encrypted.
